Jeremy Deck
Lead Pastor
Jeremy and Amy Deck moved up to the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis from Chicago in 2006. While they're still hooked on Chicago sports, Minneapolis has truly become their home. After ten years of serving as the Pastor of Student Ministries and as a member of the preaching team at New Hope Church, Jeremy was commissioned and sent by his church to plant Gospel Life Church. Jeremy loves pastoral ministry and in particular loves meeting new people, preaching, conversations, relationships, disciple making, and casting vision for the church. Jeremy and Amy have six children and love the roles that God has given them in this season of their lives. Jeremy has an undergraduate degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
Matthew Holmes
Associate Pastor
Matthew joined Gospel Life Church during its first month of weekly gatherings in November 2017. Serving as a pastor, Matthew delights in planning and leading worship gatherings, teaching, discipleship conversations, and engaging art and culture with the gospel. He was educated at the University of Minnesota and Bethlehem College & Seminary. In his free time, he likes to read, attend soccer matches, chop wood, and watch movies. Matthew and his wife, Lydia, together enjoy long walks around their neighborhood in South Minneapolis.
